Report a maintenance issue
For repairs and maintenance please call the Homes Out West office on 1300 038 233
We will arrange for a contracted tradesperson to carry out the required repairs. With permission we will provide your contact details to the tradesperson who will contact you to arrange a suitable time to attend your property.
For urgent repairs after hours please contact the tradesperson on the bottom of your lease. If you are unable to locate these details, please call our maintenance number and leave your name, address and a detailed message. A staff member will monitor these calls 7 days a week and respond when necessary.
Maintenance work will be attended to within the following timeframes.
Emergency: Within 24 Hours
Urgent: Within 5 Working days
Routine: Within 28 Days
Your changing needs
At Homes Out West we understand that your circumstances may change from time to time. You may need to increase or decrease the size of your property, you may need to move to another town or you may move from Community Housing to the private rental market or purchase you own home.
We shall provide a client focused service that is flexible, responsive and fair in meeting the changing needs of tenants ensuring that they are able to maintain affordable, secure and sustainable tenancies that enhances their lives and potential.
Tenants have a right to request a transfer to another property if their requirement for housing changes through the course of their tenancy
Tenants can also apply for a Succession of Tenancy. A succession may be granted to a person who has been a member of the household for the preceding 12 months or to a non household member who is a recent or new member of the household or a person who has returned after a lengthy absence.
