Homes Out West manages around 350 properties in communities along the Murray River corridor from Albury to the South Australian border from its two offices in Deniliquin and Lavington.
Peter de Koeyer
Peter commenced on the Board in July 2022. Peter is currently part time Capital Projects Manager at Westmont Aged Care Services Ltd, after being CEO of the same organisation for 12 years, during which time he developed multi dimensional aged care and retirement living businesses. Peter’s background is in finance, accounting and capital project management. Peter is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant, and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
JANETTE WYATT-BROWN
A seasoned professional with a proven track record in leadership and education, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. Having served on the board of Kirinari Community Services since 2004 and assuming the Chair role in 2010, I have a deep understanding of effective governance.
Over the course of my extensive 33-year career in education, during which I served as a school principal, I have honed a diverse skill set that encompasses business management, human resources, and education delivery. My robust foundation in business leadership equips me to provide invaluable insights to any board.
In my retirement, I am eager to contribute my expertise and provide strong leadership as part of the Homes Out West Board of Directors, ensuring the organisation’s success.
PETER EDWARDS
With my extensive background in business and property development, I bring valuable knowledge to the table. As a respected local businessman, I understand the importance of building networks to advance an organisation’s goals.
Throughout my career, I’ve demonstrated strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit, enabling me to identify opportunities, navigate challenges, and drive success.
I’ve served on the Board of Kirinari Community Services since February 2021, actively contributing to shaping the organisation’s strategy.
My profound local insights and vast network empower me to address unique challenges and opportunities within our community, making me well-suited to provide valuable guidance and strategic direction as a Board Director at Homes Out West.
STEVEN MARTIN
With a Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology, and Chartered Engineer credential, I bring a solid educational background and wealth of experience to any board.
My career journey has been rich and varied, including various engineering roles, political engagement as a Liberal candidate, and recent involvement in land and building development.
Notably, I was elected to the Kirinari Community Services Board in August 2022, underscoring my commitment to community service. This diverse experience has nurtured a strong business mindset and a wide network of connections relevant to Homes Out West’s mission.
I am enthusiastic about leveraging my expertise and extensive network as a Board Director, dedicated to advancing Homes Out West’s goals and making a positive impact in our community.
CHRISTOPHER GREEN
As the Managing Director of GYB Regional, I specialise in transforming entrepreneurial businesses in our region. My expertise lies in designing impactful strategic and business development programs, drawing from a blend of practical, commercial, and technical knowledge.
My commitment to our community extends beyond my professional endeavours. I actively participate in various community groups and boards, including my role as a Board Director at Kirinari Community Services, firmly believing in giving back to the regions we call home.
